Defragment

Your PC's hard drive becomes “fragmented” as you create and delete files. This fragmentation slows down performance because your hard drive must search in more places for the information it needs.

Step 1: Open "My Computer"

Step 2: Right-click a drive and click properties

Step 3: Click on the "Tools" tab

Step 4: Look for the "Defragmentation" section and click "Defragment Now"

Step 5: This will open the "Disk Defragmenter". Select a drive and click "Defragment"
